Rare Plant Surveys

Rare Plant Surveys

Our Services Include:

  • Qualified Surveyors: Our professional staff are qualified and trained to follow protocols established by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.
  • Timely Response: Once a client submits a survey request, we provide thorough site assessments to determine the impact of a project. Upon completion of fieldwork, comprehensive reports are produced and delivered to the client in a timely manner to avoid costly delays in the permitting process.
  • Comprehensive Reporting: Our reports contain all necessary information required by the regulatory agencies to evaluate a project.  Specifically, we provide detailed site descriptions, high quality maps, photographs, and all data collected at each site. In addition, we offer recommendations on how clients can avoid or reduce their impact on sensitive plant and their habitats.
  • Post-Development Monitoring: Where necessary, we provide long-term monitoring of sites to assess ecological responses to development activities.

Some species we have conducted surveys for include
Creeping Snowberry, Buffalo Nut, Oake’s Evening Primrose, Great Spurred Violet, Thalictrum coriaceum, Northeastern Bulrush, and Native Orchids.
