Wildlife Ecologist


Brett received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Science from Mansfield University and has interned with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. Brett has managed several businesses and also owned a personal business. He was a licensed fishing guide in Pennsylvania for 3 years. He has worked as a naturalist guide/fly fishing instructor/hunting guide educating the public in the “Wilds” of Pennsylvania for a North Central Pa outdoor company. Brett is an avid outdoorsman, fly fisherman, and bird enthusiast.  Brett volunteers for the USGS Patuxent Wildlife Research Center’s Breeding Bird Survey. He joined our team as a Wildlife Ecologist.

Brett’s experience includes assisting other biologists in timber rattlesnake Phase I and II surveys, Timber Rattlesnake construction monitoring, rare and invasive plant surveys, and bat roost tree surveys, and leading Northern Goshawk nest surveys and wetland delineations.
