Thanks to Ben Benner, Brian Benner, and Bill Christian for building all of this. It's a great addition to the back yard of Wildlife Specialists.
![]() Bog turtles (Glyptemys muhlenbergii) are a small species of turtle usually associated with open marshy meadows, spring seeps, bogs, and fens with a mosaic of microhabitats for foraging, nesting, basking, and hibernation. Mostly due to habitat loss and fragmentation and the spread of invasive exotic plant species bog turtle populations have declined and are currently listed as threatened under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and PA Endangered under the PA Fish and Boat Commission. Wildlife Specialists provides the comprehensive services necessary for environmental compliance with these regulatory agencies and has a US Fish and Wildlife Service Qualified Bog Turtle Surveyor on staff.
